Supporting this year’s theme, ‘Break the Bias’ on Women’s Day 2022, we started the Brave Brooch movement to celebrate people from all walks of life, who have showed commitment to calling out bias. The brooch was handmade by Baliji, a visually impaired artisan in Ramasar, Palawal village near Jaipur, Rajasthan, who used her art to empower herself and her tribe from the village.
